The only sentence I keep on thinking looking at this picture is "Thank god I live in a civilized country". It has many defects but it tries and every now and then you see these gems of tolerance at the point that the freedom of exchange is possible. That's when I love most the UK.

Police Woman

As much as I am in favour of multiculturalism and respect for cultural differences women status is clearly one of the heavy clashing points between the Muslim world and the Western one that bugs me. Our own society has still a long way to go and some subtle barriers to equality are still there, but it cannot be denied that western women are in a far better position than Muslim women and new generations of men and women are showing radical changes in mentality so some of the problems that are still persisting today might not exist in 10 years.
And I love horses.
